First opening its doors in 1964, The London Business School is widely considered to be one of the best business schools in the world. Their central London campus is based in one of the most prestigious postcodes, NW1, Regents Park. Working hard to stay at the forefront of their industry, The London Business School initiated a competitive tender process in 2018 to find the right partner to implement a refreshment solution across the campus.
The Challenge
The London Business School struggled with the challenge of finding a durable coffee machine to cater to their student’s caffeine needs due to the high volume of usage it would receive throughout the day.
As a result, in the summer of 2018, The London Business School initiated a competitive tender process, where the top vending providers showcased their services so that the right partnership could be established.
The Solution and Approach
Vending Sense decided to take an agnostic approach during their showcase. This meant that the team objectively evaluated the different types of coffee machines Vending Sense provides to determine which one would best serve the needs and preferences of The London Business School’s students.
As a result, a successful partnership meant that the popular Franke A600 bean-to-cup coffee machine was selected and installed on campus. Its touchscreen display provides a simplified drink selection process allowing the students to easily select their chosen drink and receive a perfect cup of coffee each time.
The Result
The London Business School valued Vending Sense’s agnostic approach and attention to detail when supporting them in their selection of a coffee machine solution. As a result, they saw a positive interaction among students whilst using the machine. So much so, that since their first purchase in 2018, they have since purchased a total of 4 bean to cup Frank A600 machines used throughout the campus.
